The INFRACHIP DIGITAL SCHOOL – Healthcare and Edge AI

Discover INFRACHIP and explore how semiconductor technologies are shaping the next generation of edge AI. From healthcare and wearables to sustainable electronics and autonomous systems, the webinar brings together real-world applications and perspectives from research and industry.

Date: 14 October 2026
Time: 11:00 CEST
Format: Online
Registration deadline: 13 October 2026, 15:00 CEST

About the webinar

The webinar starts with an introduction to INFRACHIP and its role in supporting Europe’s semiconductor ecosystem. Speakers from Qualcomm, CENIMAT|i3N, Tyndall National Institute and PragmaClin will then explore different applications of edge AI.

Topics will range from wearable health monitoring and neuromorphic hardware to ultra-low-power systems and AI-based Parkinson’s assessment. Through practical examples, the talks will highlight how AI can move closer to the data source while reducing power consumption and enabling new healthcare and field applications.

The session will also look at the challenges of bringing these technologies from research into real-world and commercial use.
