About the webminar:

Are you a tech-student looking to deepen your knowledge in Ion Implantation and Annealing? Do you want to learn from the best and network with international experts? Look no further! The Infineon SummerSchool 2026 is now open for applications. 

What to expect: 

  • 3 days of hands-on learning at Infineon Villach, covering the basics of “How to build a chip” 
  • 3 days of in-depth learning at the IIT School, focusing on Ion Implantation and Annealing 
  • On-site tours, technical lectures, and practical workshops 
  • Valuable networking sessions and opportunities to connect with industry experts 
  • Free education, accommodation, and company catering (travel reimbursement up to €200 for public transport) 

Qualification for participation: 

  • 30 technical students with a high interest in Ion Implantation & Annealing (MSc/PhD level in physics, material science, chemistry, etc.) 
  • Students from all over the world are welcome to apply
