About the training:

Electronics with Robotics is a professional training programme for primary school teachers, organised by CC Chip.si – the Slovenian Competence Centre on Chips and Semiconductor Technologies, in cooperation with the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Ljubljana.

The training is intended for:

  • teachers who wish to introduce the elective subject Electronics with Robotics at their school
  • teachers who already teach the subject and would like to further develop their knowledge and exchange experiences.

The training materials and delivery will be provided by the Electronics with Robotics project team: https://electronicswithrobotics.si

What the training focuses on:

Through presentations, demonstrations and hands-on activities, participants will explore practical approaches to teaching electronics and robotics in primary schools.

Training covers:

  • introduction to the Electronics with Robotics project and subject implementation options,
  • examples of products pupils can create during the course,
  • experience sharing by teachers who already teach the subject,
  • hands-on work with tools, materials and instructional guidelines,
  • identification of common mistakes made by pupils and ways to address them.

Hands on experience:

During the practical session, participants will:

  • become familiar with the tools and equipment required for the subject,
  • learn correct and safe use of tools,
  • build one of the electronic–robotic projects
(additional projects will be provided for home assembly).

Wrap-up session

The training concludes with:

  • a Kahoot quiz designed for pupils as a final activity after completing a project,
  • guidance on how to independently and confidently deliver the subject at school.

By the end of the training, teachers will be equipped with the essential skills and practical knowledge needed to successfully implement or further develop the subject Electronics with Robotics at their school.
